What's Your Story is a year–long project that launched on September 27, 2009 at the Abbot Kinney Festival when a crew of Venice Arts' students, photographers, and filmmakers began gathering community stories.

We are featuring 6 story chapters over the course of the year. But you'll be able to see many more stories on the project's website. Thus far, featured stories include (click to view):

YOU can participate in this project. Here's how:

» Upload stories that you have created —documentary shorts, photo series, multi–media, or audio to this site.

» Submit your story ideas for Venice Arts' students to consider for future documentary projects. We are looking for all kinds of stories for our kids to produce: funny, quirky, socially relevant, uncommon -- as long as there is a strong story to be told, the possibilities are limitless.

» Subscribe to this site to get updated on new stories, community events, and other happenings.

» Get the word out by sharing this site on through Facebook, MySpace, email, Twitter, or any other way that you like to get the word out!
